Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Campaign
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.
There's more reason to go museum hopping this Lunar New Year. The National Heritage Board's Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Campaign is back with 32 Museum Roundtable institutions – that means 32 unique red packet designs for each participating museum and gallery.
Challenge yourself by paying a visit to all the venues, including the likes of Singapore Botanic Gardens Heritage Museum, Eurasian Heritage Gallery, ArtScience Museum and more, to pick up customised ox-themed hongbaos. For the first time, ticket redemptions are not tied to entrance tickets – but do check out the I Love Museums Facebook page for special criteria you have to fulfil before heading down to the museums. Don't worry, they're as simple as filling out a form or following social media pages.
Want the full set of 32 red packet designs without criss-crossing the country? Test your new year luck with the QR Code Scavenger Hunt. Simply scan the unique QR code on your Museum Roundtable red packet, and pray to the CNY gods that you're one of 250 lucky winners of a limited edition boxset. You can also take part in two online giveaways of 50 boxsets on the I Love Museums Facebook page. Answer a Lunar New Year quiz between January 22 to 25, or get crafty from January 28 to February 5: submit a photo of a festive decoration made from any number of red packets, of which at least one must be from the 2021 MR Lunar New Year Hongbao Campaign.
